Leandro Bousquet, Partner and Head of Real Estate

Mr. Bousquet is the head of Real Estate and a member of Vinci’s strategic committee. He has over 22 years of experience in real estate investments, having experience in all phases of the real estate market. He previously served as CEO and investor relations manager of BRMalls Participaçoes S.A., where he was responsible for the financing strategy, acquisitions and financial performance of greenfield and brownfield projects. He also served as a member of BR Mall’s investment committee, responsible for the investment, development and acquisition decisions of BR Malls. During this period, Mr. Bousquet was involved in 13 transactions, totalling R$2.9 billion and representing more than 55% of the transaction executed by BR Malls in terms of value as of 2012. Between 2004 and 2006, and Mr. Bousquet worked in the investment banking division of Banco Pactual, covering the real estate sector. Between 1999 and 2004 he was a partner and head of the real estate team at Banco CR2 leading the investments in residential developments. Between 1994 and 1999, Mr. Bousquet served as co-head of the real estate team at Banco BBM in charge of commercial and residential real estate developments. Mr. Bousquet holds an economics degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and an executive degree from Stanford University.

Alessandro Horta, Vinci Partners CEO and Real Estate Investment Committee Member

Mr. Horta is a founder, CEO and member of the board of directors, strategic committee and responsible for the alternative investment sector of Vinci Partners. He previously served as deputy CEO of Banco UBS Pactual. Mr. Horta was also in charge of Vinci Gestora’s alternative investment private equity activities. Mr. Horta was the COO and head of private equity of Banco Pactual, where he also served as partner and member of the Executive Committee. Prior to joining Banco Pactual, he was a partner of Banco Icatu, responsible for merchant banking operations. Between 1997 and 1998, he was an equities trader at Banco CSFB Garantia, and between 1994 and 1997, he was an investment fund manager at Opportunity’s asset manager. Between 1991 and 1994, Mr. Horta was a share and fixed income trader and a real estate investment analyst at Banco Icatu. Mr. Horta holds an electrical engineering degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.

Gilberto Sayão, Vinci Partners Chairman and Real Estate Investment Committee Member

Mr. Sayão is a founder and member of the board of directors and management committee of Vinci Partners. He previously served as chairman of Banco UBS Pactual and as principal director of Vinci Gestora’s alternative investments. At Banco UBS Pactual, Mr. Sayão was a controlling partner, member of the executive committee and executive responsible for alternative investments, corporate finance and hedge funds. Mr. Sayão holds an electrical engineer degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.

Rodrigo Coelho, Shopping Mall Strategy Officer

Mr. Coelho is a director at Vinci Real Estate and leader of shopping center investment strategy. He was responsible for the acquisition of seven shopping centers and for the investment of one building in the build to suit strategy for a total of approximately R$630 million in asset value and more than R$400 million in structured financing operations. He previously worked at Plural Capital (currently Banco Brasil Plural) where he was responsible for real estate investments, structuring of real estate investment funds and real estate receivables certificates, as well as advising on M&A transactions in the real estate sector. Between 2002 and 2010, Mr. Coelho worked at BBM in the structured products and credit analysis areas. Mr. Coelho has a production engineering degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA in Finance and Capital Markets from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas.

Ilan Nigri, Logistics and Office Strategy Officer

Mr. Nigri is a director at Vinci Real Estate and is responsible for the origination and execution of investment opportunities. Between 2009 and 2011 he worked in the operational and financial areas of Vinci Partners where he was responsible for structuring, developing and monitoring financial controls for Vinci Partners’ hedge funds and its credit department. Prior to joining Vinci, Mr. Nigri was an associate at Opus Gestão de Recursos, where he was responsible for management information and back office. Between 2002 and 2003 he worked in management information for Banco Pactual. Between 1996 and 2006, Mr. Nigri worked at CIN Engenharia Civil, where he was responsible for structuring and executing residential and commercial real estate projects. Mr. Nigri holds a degree in civil engineering from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.

Luiz Filipe Araújo, Management and Acquisition

Mr. Araújo has been a member of the investment advisor’s team since 2014, serving in various capacities such as opportunity analyst and shopping center portfolio management, and participating in the acquisition of fiveshopping centers totaling an approximate investment of R$430 million and R$250 in leverage operations.  Currently he also works in the administration and monitoring of Vinci Gestora’s investments. Between 2012 and 2014 he was responsible for the real estate and asset management portfolios of Vinci Partners. He previously worked at Banco Modal where he monitored the Bank’s operations. Mr. Araújo holds a production engineering degree from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro—UFRJ.

Érica Souza, Investor Relations

Ms. Souza has been a member of the investment advisor’s team since 2013 as is currently responsible for Investors Relations. Between 2011 and 2012 she worked at Vinci Partners’ back office and was responsible for structuring the Offshore Wealth Management controls. Prior to joining Vinci Partners, she worked at Concremat, a construction management company. In 2009 she worked at Lloyds TSB Investment Advisory Group. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.

José Antonio (Zeca) Grabowsky, Senior Advisor

Mr. Grabowsky is a senior manager of the real estate team and responsible for the real estate development strategy of Vinci Partners in the U.S. He was previously responsible for real estate investment department at Banco Pactual, CEO of PGD and was a partner at Banco Pactual. Prior to joining Banco Pactual, he worked for 13 years at Grupo Icatu where he was responsible for its controlling shareholder’s investment department. During his tenure, Grupo Icatu co-developed numerous commercial, residential and shopping mall real estate investments in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. He was also a founder and an executive at Atlântica Residencial, a real estate developer focused on the middle and lower-middle class segment controlled by Grupo Icatu, Prudential Real Estate Investors, Cadim (Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec) and GIC (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation). Throughout his career, Mr. Grabowsky has participated in more than 500 real estate development projects. Mr. Grabowsky holds a civil engineering degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and a master in finance degree from COPPEAD—UFRJ.
